We were chartered in 1957.  Chetco Federal Credit Union (CFCU) started as a small organization out of the trunk of a car. Since that time, CFCU has flourished into over $340 million in loans, over $312 million in deposits, with over 30,000 members served by eight branch offices.

Chetco Federal Credit Union is a non-profit financial institution owned by its members.

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in Del Norte, Curry and Coos Counties, and their family members. Chetco Federal Credit Union is a financial cooperative providing financial services to our members. The Board of Directors is elected from this community by the general membership. These board members service wholly in a volunteer capacity.
